Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock's Iongtime Boyfriend, Passes Away Due To Lou Gehrig's Disease

Bryan Randall, the longtime partner of Sandra Bullock, passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 57.

He had been battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, for the past three years.

Randall was a model and photographer who met Bullock in 2015 when he was hired to shoot photos of her son Louis' birthday party.

They began dating soon after and were together for eight years.

In a statement to People magazine, Bullock's representative said that she was "heartbroken" by Randall's death.

Bryan was a kind and gentle soul who fought a courageous battle with ALS," the statement said. "He will be deeply missed by his family and friends."

Randall is survived by his two children, Skylar and Scout, from a previous relationship. He is also survived by Bullock and her children, Louis and Laila.

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. It leads to muscle weakness and wasting, difficulty speaking, swallowing, and breathing.
